Macaron Mix - 500g Tub

Easy to use, just add water and mix for perfect Macarons every time.

Makes Approx 40 Macarons.

For best results:

Place 500g of Macaron mix into a grease-free bowl fitted with a whisk.

Add 115g of water and mix on slow speed for about one minute then on top speed for 5-6 minutes.

Fill a piping bag with the batter and pipe circles around 2cm in diameter on to greaseproof paper.

Leave to stand for one hour uncovered, then bake at 140C-150C for around 20-25 minutes.

Let Macarons cool before filling of decorating.

If you want to add food colour a paste or gel is best and make sure it is "bake stable".

Ingredients:Sugar, Almonds, Egg White, Citric Acid (E330), Modified Maize Starch, Stabilisers (E466, E415), Colour (E171), Flavour.

Store in Cool Dry Conditions.
